Wedding diary: 8 months to go for bride-to-be Noemi!
It’s now just eight months until Noemi and Chris head to beautiful Puglia, Italy, to become Mr and Mrs Pearson. With time flying by, Noemi is in the thick of planning for their dream wedding.
Handing over the blog to Noemi…
Eight months until the big day!! It’s getting really exciting. We attended the last wedding of the year for Sara and Tony at the hop farm and now it’s full steam ahead into planning our own.
Since I last posted, we have been to see the planner and started our mood board, booked and chosen our photographer and I am currently on my way to meet three of my bridesmaids to try on some beautiful ghost dresses.
We have booked a trip to Italy in September to do the food tasting, pick the flowers and finalise everything. I have really enjoyed everything so far and am excited that our friends and family can come to Italy with us.
Mood board –
Working with the planner has been exciting as it’s nice to bounce ideas off someone. I have found Pinterest the best source of information and learnt lots from attending different weddings. I gave my Pinterest board to Emiliana and we discussed all the things we both loved and she came up with a mood board. We were also fortunate to be given a box of chocolates and memory stick with the video of the venue on it. It’s all the little touches which I’m excited about.
I have chosen five bridesmaids; it was really difficult and I would love to have two extra. We are off to Chelsea to try some dresses in the Ghost store on the Kings Road, London (www.ghost.co.uk). I have found it particularly tricky finding styles I like which will suit a broad range of ages. For me, it was key to find something simple elegant and classic.
